Through our SDGs Ambassadors Program, we equip students and educators with the knowledge, tools, and leadership skills to drive tangible progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their schools and communities. By bridging global frameworks with local action, we ignite youth-led solutions to environmental and social challenges, ensuring no one is left behind in the race for a sustainable future.
Key Focus Areas
SDG Education & Awareness Through interactive workshops and resources, we deepen students’ understanding of the SDGs. Activities include role-playing, debates, and real-world case studies from Ghana’s environmental challenges, such as deforestation and urban heat islands.
Skills for Localizing the SDGs We train students to adapt global goals to local contexts. For example, workshops guide participants in mapping community assets (e.g., school gardens, local NGOs) and designing hyper-local projects like waste recycling drives or tree-planting campaigns tailored to their neighborhoods.
Project Design & Implementation Youth learn to turn ideas into action using step-by-step frameworks for project planning, budgeting, and teamwork. Past ambassadors have launched school composting systems, rainwater harvesting initiatives, and advocacy clubs to reduce plastic use.
Leadership & Advocacy Training Ambassadors gain public speaking, digital storytelling, and partnership-building skills to amplify their impact. They lead peer-to-peer campaigns, host community forums, and collaborate with local leaders to integrate SDGs into school policies and municipal plans.
